McValue Lunch & Buka Puasa

Whenever Ramadan month is coming, I am very excited with the McDonalds and KFC's special promotion for Ramadan month. 

As for Ramadan month, I can get the same price as the McValue Lunch or the KFC Lunch Treats for my dinner. Usually I am seldom eating fast foods for my lunch and would usually take it for my dinner. Thus, this Ramadan month would be the month for me to enjoy cheaper fast foods for my fast foods dinner. That's great.! 

McDonalds has announced on their McValue Buka Puasa deal similarly with the McValue Lunch prices. An additional to the new family member the Double GCB at RM 14.95 for Medium set. 

Trip to Bukit Merah

Yay! Finally I stepped on the Bukit Merah Waterpark on 28th July 2011. It was my first time I been to the Bukit Merah Waterpark. Sure, this will surprise everyone as for a person who is living in Taiping and to get to Bukit Merah is just 20 - 30 minutes drive to there, is never been to the Waterpark before. 

I made this trip together with my ex-classmates from King Edward VII secondary school. It was a very long planning before we made a decision to go to Bukit Merah Waterpark. Haha..

Facebook iPad app

Today's news was abuzz with hidden iPad version of the latest update of Facebook iPhone app on version 3.4.4. Thanks to Marvin Bernal tweeted the instructions to unveiled the hidden iPad version of Facebook app. 

It would be the matter of time before Facebook releases the iPad version into App Store, but today mostly people have get it earlier before the launching. 

I didn't miss the chance to download the Facebook iPhone version app and followed the trick given to unlock the hidden Facebook iPad version.

Lake Garden Youth Fiesta

To my surprised, my hometown, Taiping was chosen to held this Lake Garden Youth Fiesta event organized by BN Youth. 

The event took place in Lake Garden, Taiping, this one day event began at 9.00am until 12.00am on 23 July 2011. I knew this event two days ago when I passed by the Lake Garden and saw some tents were put up in the Lake Garden. 

Luckily, today there was a drizzle in the afternoon and no sunlight until evening. So, there shall be more Taiping youngsters joining this event until midnight. 

Throughout the day, there were bazaar selling foods, clothes and accessories, futsal, basketball, sepak takraw , street dance, concert and live match of Singapore vs Malaysia on a big screen.

MATTA Fair In Penang

Time to travel !

MATTA Fair is back in Penang and would be in Penang International Sports Arena (PISA) from today, 22 July 2011 until Sunday, 24 July 2011. This fair promises more interesting travel packages for visitors an would attract more people to travel soon. 

From The Star newspaper attached together some of the travel agencies' travel packages and the packages are interesting with affordable travelling in Europe or Asia countries and amazing new experience for travel enthusiasts.  

Malaysian Owns Golden Yacht

Today's The Star reported a Malaysian owns the world's most expensive luxury yacht. Although it is not confirm but it has been abuzz in the Britian's newspapers regarding this news.

A Malaysian paid £3 billion (RM 14.5 billion) for this luxury yacht. This was extremely crazy to own so expensive yacht. I wonder who is the Malaysian who has so many money to spend and willing to spend RM 14.5 billion on this yacht alone? 

It would be just the matter of time before we will know who is the rich Malaysian owner =)

Fall Sick ~

Cough Cough..! 

Fall sick two days ago and this morning went to the government clinic to take medicine. I has been more than four months since the last time I fall sick. Went to the government clinic in the morning at 10 am, waited for 30 minutes in registration counter, 35 minutes in screening room and another 20 minutes to take medicines in pharmacy. 

As usual, whenever I fall sick, my throat will be feeling pain and itchy, cough and running nose. 

Doctor given to me medicines for sore throat, flu, panadol and anti-biotic while no medicine for cough..

Apple iOS 4.3.4 prevents Hacking & Jailbreaking

A new update for Apple iOS is available at the moment for iOS devices including the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad, iPad 2 and iPod Touch. 

The new update makes it harder and preventing from hacking and jailbreaking. Just few weeks ago, JailBreakMe found a way to jailbreak on the iPad 2 and easily jailbreak by downloading the Cydia from the JailBreakMe website.

With the new update, it would avoid hacking and jailbreaking but it would be a matter of time, for the jailbreaker to find a way to jailbreak on this new update of iOS 4.3.4

Saw this KFC advertisement on The Star. 

Cheesy combo is here for KFC and now with Cheesy Egg Bun combo just for RM 4.00 with a Cheesy Egg Bun and one hot coffee with free refills during breakfast hours. 

Attached together was the coupons for the breakfast combo. Two of the coupons are for the Cheesy Egg Bun at RM 3.50 rather than RM 4.00. Valid until 31 July 2011. 

Malaysia Vs Liverpool

Great game in Stadium Bukit Jalil between Malaysia and Liverpool. 

I watched the game from beginning until the end. Malaysia team played well in the first half but in the second half, they failed to maintain the first half's momentum and allowed Liverpool to score five goals in second half. Most of the goals came from the weak and misunderstanding among the defensive players and the goal keeper of Malaysia. 

Proud to see the Liverpool team played in Malaysia for the first time ever and hope in coming years, Liverpool would come to Malaysia again. Although no King Kenny in the field, yet the Liverpool was still playing their best. I am very happy to see Liverpool team was playing more on short passes and one touch football.

SMK King Edward VII Sports Day

On 9th of July, my alma mater was having its sports day. As usual our tradition for our sports day is held in the afternoon at 2.00pm. 

Last time our school's sports day was usually in June but this year, it was had it in July. 

No Stevie G in Malaysia

Source from Soccernet was reporting, Liverpool Captain Steven Gerrard has been ruled out from the Asia tour to ensure he is fit to for the start of the new Premier League season. 

It was sad to hear on this news. I thought I can see Steven Gerrard plays against Malaysia Football team on next week. 

Hope he will recover as soon as possible and would be able to start on the new season.

MNP to U.O.X.

Finally I get my Hotlink number ported to University of Xpax (U.O.X.) and my phone shall valid until my age 25 years old. 

I ported from Hotlink to U.O.X. because my Hotlink number was not in Hotlink Youth Club and it was very expensive to make a phone call under the normal plan and I have to reload credits  into my phone in order to use the Hotlink number to make a phone call or SMS. Hence, I decided to port to U.O.X. as the credit would valid until my age 25 years old. 

It took me four days to successfully ported to U.O.X. I think Maxis will blacklist my number as previously, I had been porting a lot of time. Original from Maxis --> Digi --> Maxis --> Celcom. 

Now my phone is valid until 7th February 2015. haha.. Better than my Digi Campus which is valid until 13th July 2013.

At First Was Mitsubishi, Now Is Chevrolet

At first, Malaysia Police was engaged with Mitsubishi for the Mitsubishi Lancer modified version for Royal Malaysian Police patrol car. Now, it is Chevrolet turns to get the taste to become Royal Malaysian Police patrol car.

Two units of Chevrolet Captiva and one unit of Chevrolet Cruze were given to Royal Malaysian Police to evaluate. 

I believe sooner or later, the highway would fill with luxury police patrol cars (Mitsubishi, Honda, Chevrolet) to combat road crime.

Facebook Video Chat Powered by Skype

Facebook confirms they will launch a video chat service on next week. The video chat is powered by Skype. Although at the moment, there is no screenshots of Skype-powered video chat on Facebook found in the internet but according to Mashable, it would be look alike on the image above. 

Interesting and let's wait for next week to see and use on the new video chat service on Facebook !

KFC Lunch Treats

McDonald's has McValue Lunch while KFC has Lunch Treats. 

I saw this advertisement in our local newspaper and finally KFC has fight back McDonald's McValue Lunch. The most popular KFC meal set, the Snack Plate is now offered at RM 8.95 cheaper compare to normal price at RM 10.10. This special price is only available from 12pm until 3pm daily. 

For me, I am very seldom to have KFC during lunch time, I usually take Snack Plate for my dinner. Wish they could have such price during dinner time. I would be very grateful.
