The government has been promised to give fair and equal scholarship to all races.. The formula of 80% and 20% is a big difference and would give bad perceptions to everyone.. For the past two years, the government has been using the 55% and 45% formula for PSD scholarship allocation.. Why this year have so big difference??
Furthermore, the government was reducing the PSD scholarship places from 2,100 students to 1,500 students..Come on la..!! These are the top students in our country, and the places should be increasing annually even though it is costly.. They are our future leaders and would lead our country for better.. I would prefer the government to spend money on these scholars than wasting our money on useless things..
To be fair to everyone, the government should publish all the PSD scholars' name inside newspaper or internet.. Let everyone sees all the scholars' names, their alma mater and their results.. I would be very proud and happy to see any scholars from my alma mater or from my hometown.. It wouldn't be that hard to publish their names inside the newspaper than everyday, answering the people's complaints and mocking..
